PREMA FONDEN is a Danish foundation established with a long-term purpose: to contribute to greater awareness of our inner nature and to a deeper understanding of our relationship with one another, nature and the universe as a whole.The foundation works from the understanding that human wellbeing is connected to the quality of our relationships — with ourselves, with one another and with the world around us.From this perspective, the foundation seeks to support activities that can contribute to culture, art, science, health, knowledge, wellbeing, trust and social cohesion.PREMA FONDEN manages its resources with a long-term perspective, seeking to maintain a stable foundation for activities consistent with our purpose.

Our activities
PREMA FONDEN's activities are organised around maintaining the economic basis necessary to pursue our statutory purpose.The statutes specifically establish real estate and related activities as part of this economic basis, with the purpose of safeguarding the foundation's economic interests and underlying values.The foundation's annual surplus is to be used for its statutory purpose.The board may reserve up to 25% of annual surplus for consolidation of the foundation's assets.
Governance
The board is the foundation's highest authority and consists of between three and five members.The board elects its own chairperson and makes decisions according to the procedures established in the statutes.No individual board member has personal liability for the foundation's obligations, and no member may claim the foundation's assets.The foundation's assets are therefore held within the legal structure of the foundation and dedicated to its established purposes.
